Engagement

No not mine - my niece's.

Yesterday morning was rather wet and we gave up on trying to do any gardening at Bramall Hall.  It was quite fortunate that we finished early since I then had to rush home, get changed and then drive across to near Chester for a family meal to celebrate my niece's engagement, to a lovely guy, followed by a party with their friends.

I was driving so I didn't stay late into the evening, but it was still a very long day - and no lie in on SUnday either since I'm back at Bramall Park setting up gazebos for a fund raising walk.  There is never any rest for us volunteering types ;-)
