Birds at the beach

Quite content to just sit in the sun, do a little preening, gossiping, standing on one leg, waiting for something to happen. Most other people at the beach were doing much the same.

We saw sun today. In fact it got quite hot when I walked round the block this afternoon despite fresh snow on the hills.I changed into a summer top to go to the beach.
