... gets the best of the light.

Colchicum x aggripinum has popped up overnight, the first of many I hope.

The Christmas cake mixed yesterday was cooked today, came out looking just fine.  It'll likely get a showing here come the season.  Jamie cooked delicious Chicken Kiev for us, Grandma and Grandpa.    I added in an apple crumble ..... recipe for four sleepy heads post lunch :-)
               
The rest of the day passed peacefully, quite a bit of it in the garden.
