Last day

Today we bought souvenirs and presents in the morning before lunch at an excellent traditional okonomiyaki restaurant. Then we went back to Shinjuku where we visited the small but excellent samurai museum. With an enthusiastic and informative guide, and the opportunity to dress up and wield a (blunt!) samurai sword, it was lots of fun. The afternoon thunderstorm made us feel less sorry to leave.
