The Gatekeeper

We have a manned railway crossing in Chartham, very quaint. He certainly gets some exercise, up and down the steps every ten minutes or so. Just behind the the hut was a pub (think it was called The Railway Tavern), Five pubs in the village in the seventies I was told, now there are two.
