Test drive

Took Buddy up to Beacon today with Marley and April. It's a bit of a test drive before our first sport endurance ride at the end of September. The boys loaded and travelled well together and we had a great ride with some fab canters round broombriggs. We managed to do most of the gates too. About 10 mins from the end of the ride it started hailing!! We were in t-shirts and got soaked. As soon as we reached the car park it stopped.

I felt really guilty that Lime has not been out at all this week so I took him out for half an hour. Just walking. He was really forward and felt great. He really enjoyed himself.

Quick shower and change at home then we piled into the camper van for the long drive down to Norfolk. Was hard work pitching the awning in the dark (and finding a camping spot) and the kids didn't go to bed till 11pm but nevermind, we're here now and can enjoy a full weekend down here.
