Half mast

The news from Barcelona was awful. Always worse when you know the place. Like everyone who goes to Barcelona, I've promenaded doreen Las Ramblas. The flags at the Parliament and the Palace were at half mast.

And then as I arrived at E's news that Bruce Forsyth had died. I watched the tribute programme. Lots of laughs. He had a good life.
