A ghost of its former self
irresistable
to help shed layer of skin
a molting lizard
Out watering his morning, my eye was caught by a fluttering of white on the wall. An anole lizard shedding his skin. Ran back in for the camera, hoping he would be there when I came back. One back foot is out but look at the other one ghosted in white. Watched him rubbing his head against the rock to try and dislodge skin. He appeared to be eating what he could reach. Those front toes are wonderfully weird. As I got closer, he suddenly disappeared into hiding.
