Today was the first time I got a glimpse of this bird's tongue.  Don't know what it is about me and bird tongues. This is a female Hooded oriole.  Not what you might expect an oriole to look like (yellow and olive).  They are here from March to October but I started seeing the females really early this year.  Maybe they come scout before their hubbies join them?
