One night only

One of my longest-held wishes was realised this evening; to experience Elton John live, in concert. The entire evening was thrilling; from walking up Wembley Way with the new stadium towering over us, to three hours later hearing ultimate showman Elton sing 'Don't let the Sun go down on me', and 'Your Song'. Absolutely wonderful! Legend is a flippantly overused word, but Sir Elton is most definitely deserving of it, with all its gravity.
