A day in Kilwinning and Cumnock. We walked round both towns and as well as having a great chat, I made my step counter happy by busting the 10k target for the day.

In Cumnock I particularly liked this salvaged sleeper, turned into a lovely bench and marked with the names of the young people (at the time) who had been involved in the project. One of them has gone on to be a community worker in the area and was taking us on the tour. Even years later he seemed pretty proud to point out his name.
