A phone camera

I was just reading an article  which said that
"It's not even a question of if the $500 ILC becomes obsolete, it's a matter of when"
here I think it means Interchangeable Lens camera.

As the comparisons are with an iphone costing more than twice the cost of my ILC I think I will stick with what I have. There  also   the advantage that you can't call me on my camera.  

The pic is of course my (surprisingly good) smartish phone camera which reminds me of HAL in 2001.
