Stormy weather

Its the last morning for our friends visit and they debated which beach to visit as the weather turned from sunny to rain back to dry.  In the end we headed to Exmouth where they rapidly set to building a sand castle next to the incoming sea.  

I watched as the clouds darkened and headed our way with the sun still lighting up areas.  We lasted a little while longer on the beach and then joined the mad rush for shelter as the rain suddenly fell heavily.  An impressive storm with thunder and lightning, it didn't stop the dash for ice creams once it had eased.

They are now safely home, the house cleaned of sand and ready for our son's arrival late tomorrow.
