glory before the mist rolled in

shortly before 7 this morning, I just sat down to eat my porridge when I got an urgent shout to "blip this". And I don't regret it.

I'm so happy that the radio is as obsessed by Jack White as I am - right now they're playing interviews with him, plus his blues influences (Son House, Josh White, Little Willie John...) and then new and old songs from the man himself. I've always loved the blues since I was a wee girl....I could now go on a bit about the blues but, to be honest, I'd rather just listen to the Blues Special on the radio and go and look at your blips :-)

But I still want to say - my favourite song of the minute and an interview with my favourite person of the minute interviewed by my favourite ever TV music show person - anyway, this. There's something about the Hip (Eponymous) Poor Boy that's talking to me.......
