My new best friend

I saw a Swallow this morning, just the one.  It's been a dreadful year for them, and there are no House Martins or Swifts around here either.

Two Common Blues were cavorting around in the parkland this morning but the star of the show has to be this Dragonfly, which wouldn't be persuaded to step completely onto my finger.
