Not "The Cat Who Could Open The Fridge"

...but "The Cat Who Could Change The TV Channel"!

Joshy and I have been watching Holiday Inn this morning. I love old films, as does Mother Muir, who keeps me in constant DVD supply of her own favourites. Bing Crosby, who died the year I was born, is so funny and such a wonderful singer. And Fred Astaire has inspired us to waltz around the room together, although I was obliged to lead Joshy in a reverse of the traditional male-female dancing roles.

Mandu obviously thought we were having far too much fun, and leapt up on top of the TV, walked delicately across it and placed her paw on the channel changer, causing Bing and Fred to disappear from view. Once I'd returned them to their rightful place, she settled down to watch it with us, albeit upside down.
