Another day, another Heron

Or perhaps not. It may well be the same Heron who visits both the large and the small pond at the park but I'm unable to tell whether it is or not.

Wild and windy describes today's weather perfectly. In the morning it was also very wet, but fortunately the rain stopped before I had to leave for the sanctuary in the afternoon. I thought that the wind, as well as the very poor light would make finding a blip considerably more difficult, if not impossible, but I unexpectedly ended up with several to choose from. I eventually chose this Heron shot because he posed so very obligingly for me before flying to the other side of the pond.
