An English village
I left about 10.30am and had the quickest journey ever across London; usually I get stuck for ages trying to get through the Blackwall Tunnel. I stopped at Houghton Mill and had lunch there. I went for a short walk along the river. And I walked through the village which had all the elements of a traditional English village, including these lovely thatched cottages.
Further north the traffic wasn't as good and I had some delays. My friend and I went out for dinner with her daughter. After her daughter went to bed we had a good catch up over some wine.
