Gaura

The gaura lindheimeri (I think) is just coming out. These are the first flowers. I can't recall whether they're always this late or if it's just this year. The plant has been smothered by a very enthusiastic euphorbia so is having to fight for a place to find the sun, and I think the euphorbias may force a rethink of the planting later in the autumn - they're pushing the perovskia out too. The gaura flowers are very pretty, like white craneflies hanging amongst the other plants.
