Am-Dram Queens

One last nostalgic blip from this week. At yesterday's funeral Doris's daughter gave Tess these copies of photos she'd found of Doris and Tess's Mum, Jean, in their amateur dramatic heyday.
In both, Jean is far right and Doris next to her. As well as a shared love of drama, they both belonged to the Townswomen's Guild and, as they only lived a few houses apart, they spent a lot of time together.

Kate & Sophie came over for a swim at the outdoor pool and a spot of lunch. Apparently, Sophie asked Kate this morning "What am I?" When Kate asked her what she meant she replied "Well, Grandad says I'm a pickle!" I seem to have confused the poor child:)!
