Sign of bitch!

This is taken from Sword Beach where the British landed their troops on D-Day. When I look across the vast expanse that were the beaches I can't help think what a nightmare it would have been to have been down there on that day so out in the open and essentially machine-gun-fodder.

This picture is in the middle of my first 4-day trip on a motorbike accompanied by some close friends. They came from London and I from Brussels so this sign was quite the find.
