Another boring baler Blip.....

A morning of trying to beat the weather , with limited success .
Went away down the road to bale up the grass I mowed on Sunday. There has been a lot of rain since then and various parts of the 2 fields were waterlogged . Managed to get most of it baled before the rain started at lunch time, and the last 10 rows were getting baled regardless.
The trailers were making a bit of a mess coming along the field to the road but we got there eventually.

Had to go and help him bring in a cow needing calved tonight. It took 2 bikes and a couple of jumped fences but we eventually got her in and calved.
The calf didn't look too clever when I left and wee brother has just phoned to say it has died so will need to steal a twin or one of yesterday's calves to twin on to her in the morning. Should be fun as she is a wee bit wild. Ho hum.
