That's so Hebden Bridge!!

A really lovely walk along the canal from Sowerby Bridge to Hebden Bridge today in, at times, beautifully warm sunshine. The towpath was remarkably dry considering all the monsoon showers we have had recently. There is a lot of work going on to the locks so I'm not sure how a canal boat holiday would work at the moment!!

I do love a visit to Hebden Bridge, as you all know, anything goes in Hebby! The sign at The Bicycle Den, based on the canal side hiring bikes and offering refreshments, reflects just that; opening hours based on sunshine and as vague as they come. :-P I can't see Hebden Bridge ever changing and there is a certain beauty in that. :-D
