Lanercost Priory & Church

An interesting visit today to this church & priory which are well off the beaten track but was the base for Edward 1st meaning that England was ruled from here for about 6 months in 1306-07 - now I certainly didn't know that!
The stained glass was designed and made by Evie Hone - an artist of Irish descent - born in Dublin.
