Those were the days...

May 1965 and MacBraynes coach number 53 crosses the 1747 Garron Bridge over the River Shira just before it flows into Loch Fyne. Very picturesque and MacBraynes buses over the years have been photographed at this location.

This is another in the collection I'm scanning for a friend. Had planned a seaside blip today as the exercise does me good but not in this weather!

There seemed to be a bit of interest in the last shot from the collection so I hope this one will be just as popular.

I had a walk around Inverary last summer and it's a pretty little place though I did fear for my safety on the rickety old pier! The biggest surprise was finding an Indian Restaurant!
