rains

we had a brief shower this afternoon.

odd. we shouldn't see any rain until november. hopefully it will cool things down. sadly, i think it's what the bembas call the 'rain that brings in the hot season'.

please, i don't think i can take much more heat.

today it was one of our intern's birthdays so we had to follow zambian tradition and pour water all over him. as soon as he'd got dry it started raining. sorry sorry sorry!
