After the rain...

... the sun came out with a vengeance and everything was sparkling. Some cabbage trees for Cabbagetree! They love it here too and cope well with the salty seaside air. The only thing they seem to hate is frost.
Another very profitable day. Card order safely dispatched without too much stress and then straight into the garden where compost bins have been excavated; the polytunnel cleared and said compost applied. In between a few heavy showers the weather has been glorious - warm, bright and breezy.

We both much enjoyed Anna Karenina last night - a bold and highly visual, theatrical interpretation, breath-taking to look at though shocking at just how restrained women were - physically, mentally and emotionally; all reflected in the mountainous clothes required.
