Packing Up

Today was spent taking down our borrowed tent and packing away as much as possible into the trailer, ready to leave tomorrow. We managed time for a quick swim in the pool at lunchtime and a late afternoon trip to the lake to cool off again.
In the evening we enjoyed a pasta meal at the campsite restaurant with a delicious tiramisu for dessert.
Later we were joined by two families we have made friends with - the Italian family who lent us their tent and a Dutch family who also helped us out during the storms. We had a great time chatting to them - the conversation was very interesting with everyone sharing different aspects of their countries and learning new words from different languages. They were all quite keen to learn some and we now have offers of places to stay in Venice and Amsterdam! It was a great end to a fantastic holiday :)
