Mercy Mission

After a call from Mum this morning during which she said she wasn't feeling very well, I decided to fly from Barcelona to Scotland to lend a hand for a couple of days and help with any medical matters. She seems better but I had a fright in the airport when her phone gave only the engaged tone for over an hour and a half. I managed to get a number for Police Scotland that I could call from abroad and waited for an hour before they came back to tell me they had had to force entry and found Mum well and watching TV! Her phone handset had not been settled back into its base unit properly and she hadn't heard the doorbell which is quite a distance away. So all's well that ends well.
