Summer Breeze

When we went to the Outer Hebrides in June we discovered that the island of Barra had started a project to create strings and strings of Bunting to decorate their community hall for events. Anyone who has ever set foot on Barra and /or Vatersay is invited to make a piece of Bunting to contribute to the cause. This is my rather amateur effort which I have sent off today. ( Top left unstitched as per instructions)
Some of the pieces are very inventive and have involved great skill with embroidery and appliqué , mine is just pieces of appropriately printed fabrics stitched together, but I hope they can find a not too well lit corner for it somewhere.
