Panoramic Dog Corner

A panorama is any wide-angle view or representation of a physical space, whether in painting, drawing, photography, film/video, or a three-dimensional model.

I'm having fun with the new features offered in the IOS 6 iPhone upgrade. My cellphone contract makes the iphone 5 unaffordable until next summer, but the software upgrade is probably all I need. I would love the better camera, I always have my iPhone with me and the camera with you is the most used. I'm a total fan-girl, having had all the models and found the device life changing since 2007. The map feature bundled with the update is my only beef, they best improve it, but how can one improve on Google maps, I ask you? When I first entered our address it brought me to the UK, lovely, but...

The panoramic feature is of course a bit distorted, but seems great fun, our front lawn is big, but not that expansive! It's time for another trip to the Grand Canyon to really try out the feature I say!

Here's a photo of Dog Corner Cottage in the late 1800s early 1900s when it was owned by the Brigham family. Nora & Gordon, my maternal grandparents, bought it in 1928 with 15 acres of land for $5000. The son of the Brighams (who built it in 1893, as a summer house, south of Boston), was the owner at the time. I grew up in the house (you can see a bit of white) next door, on land my grandparents gave my parents. My brother(and G for the moment) also lives close by on some of the land too, given to him by Nora when he got married.

For the Record,
This day came in sunny with a brisk temp of 40 degrees f.

I heard a loud ruckus outside on the front lawn and watched a Praying mantis battling for it's life with a Cardinal. The bird seemed to be winning. I went out, the bird flew off and I snapped a few shots. I went in to change the lens and came out to this! Next time I think I'll let the Cardinal win.
