Standing Out ....

... amongst the crowd.

We were going to go the a 4-H horse show this morning as one of R's co-workers' two kids were participating ... but the timing wasn't going to work out for us to get there in time to see them perform. 

So instead we went to see a field of sunflowers that we had read about .... ironically from another of R's former co-workers! 

We didn't know the exact location but knew the road that it was on ... so we set out with just the road in mind.  With the help of Google Maps we found the location in no time.

The field of sunflowers was simply amazingly beautiful.  Unfortunately, there wasn't really a great way to get it all in one shot.  I have added an extra of a panorama shot that I took with my smartphone .... and this isn't even the whole field!
