Happy Anniversary ...

to a very understanding man <3 I love you Mr. Badger! Who else would know that romping around on a beach with our dogs is what makes me happiest :D

Mr. Badger and I both took the day off to celebrate our 4th Wedding Anniversary. So hard to believe that it has already been 4 (amazing!) years with my lovely husband. He still makes me swoon and I only love him more the longer we've been married (I am seriously all misty eyed right now ...) Sorry for the sappiness ... ever since we got engaged, I get all teary just watching wedding commercials or hearing that someone is getting married. I am seriously not this lame about any other topic ...

We headed up to York, ME - somewhere we both find beautiful and relaxing. And now that it is after Labor Day, the dogs are allowed there during the day too :) We grabbed some lunch from the little General Store across from the beach and shared it while watching the waves. We then proceeded to walk up and down the beach for the next 3 hours! Corra and Loki both had a blast. There were lots of dead sea gulls (we are guessing from a recent Tropical storm ... very unusual) and a dead fish, all of which were thoroughly rolled in (Loki in the top picture is in heaven I think!). Corra chased sea gulls and played with other dogs enjoying the beautiful first day of fall on the beach. We eventually decided to try a group picture ... it was difficult to say the least. But luckily I had my remote and we eventually got a few with all of us in it. Mr. Badger bought us some ice cream and then we headed back to the car. We finished off our beach trip up by York's light house, Nubble Light. Last photo is of Corra looking across at good ole' Nubble :)

We headed home, grabbed some yummy dinner, and played video games into the wee hours. It was an amazing day!
