Cursed

OK, I'm beginning to lose my sense of humour.  Enough already with the bad luck and this annus horribilis!  Is it not enough to deal with healing a broken arm without also having to now contend with an infection in my leg?

About a week ago, a tender spot suddenly showed up on my calf (near the site of an insect bite).  Yesterday, it took off, and the soreness and redness rapidly spread up to above my knee, so I hobbled off to have it looked at.  The diagnosis is cellulitis, so another 10 days of antibiotics for me.  (I had a 10 day course after the surgery on my arm as well.)

Sorry to whine.  I'm slinking off to my darkened room to pout by myself for a while!
