Monday: Signposting

We left Port Renfrew this morning. It's been a great weekend - it's true what they say. A change really is as good as a rest. Apart from wonderful scenery, we have also seen lots of eagles and harbour seals. Sadly no whales or bears.

We stopped off in Jordan River and Sooke, and also enjoyed some time on French Beach.

Now back in Vancouver.

Just before we went away, I finished 'An Unfinished Woman' by Lillian Hellmann. I did enjoy it but, due to other distractions, read it in a bit too much of a disjointed way. That said, her reselling of getting stuck on a fire escape at a society party was pretty amusing.
