Golden Wattle
Well, there is no sign of Spring - a miserable day again, but the wattle is starting to flower along the roadside. I went out and picked some this morning with the aim of getting the most amazing macro of one tiny bloom. Eighty shots later and many expletives deleted, I gave in and went for this small branch. It seems that yellow is so hard to capture without any flare. I tried my light box, then turned it off and used the flash, but nothing emerged that I felt OK with. Any advice is welcome.
So here you have a bunch of tiny blooms (just 4mm across) and I'm hoping they qualify for TT.
