Experimenting.
Katkatkat has for quite some time been making "No Knead" bread which I find rather nice. I have been trying it out for a while. However the recipe being American uses a "Dutch Oven". For Dutch Oven read oven proof container with lid such as a casserole dish. America and UK two countries separated by a common language!
The oven proof dishes we have result in very nice bread but rather round and flat, not terribly good for sandwiches. So today I made my first experiment cooking in a standard loaf tin. My only thought is perhaps I need to make more mix as it didn't fill the tin.
Taste and texture on the other hand are just as good as if I had used the "Dutch Oven"
