Heather

Day 2 of holiday and thankfully not raining yet. One advantage of walking over peaty moorland in August is the stunning colours of the heather, in this case enhanced by the yellow gorse growing amongst it. After a dull start, the afternoon was perfect walking weather, sunny but with a breeze to prevent it becoming too hot. This is looking towards the lighthouse at South Stack on Holy Island.
