Moel y Parc TV mast is the fourth tallest structure in Wales, and a visible landmark well into England. It's array of red lights was usually the last thing I saw at night as I drew the curtains on my teenage years bedroom, which is the same room as I'll be stopping in for the next few nights.

We've had a rainy afternoon after a long journey of sardines on the Manchester-Rhyl train. Still, rain is what makes the grass green.
