Friends.

We spent the weekend with friends and it was just so nice to be entertained as we were both able to completely relax.

We went to Alaska with Shirley and Steve. I have known Shirley for 31 years. They took us to our favourite cake shop 'The 10th Hole' in Southsea before I made them hunt for Heart shaped Pebbles on the Beach. They all found one!

We then walked along the sea front where there was yet another kite festival. The 3rd one I have seen this year. Then we went along along to Old Portsmouth for a drink where we passed a young lad sitting on the harbour wall not thinking much other than 'he's a bit close to the edge'. On our way back to the car after our pint(s) the police had cordoned off the wall and ambulances were everywhere. It later transpired that the lad on the wall was threatening suicide and it took them an hour to get him down. I'd have lent a hand if I knew he was in turmoil.

Then after a few hours spent playing 'Cards against Humanity (I won!) we all lay in the garden watching shooting stars until Mr fell asleep!!!
