Decaying (Day 830)
After the morning scoot up the hill with the dogs, I zoomed along to Stromness to the en-suite refurb. There were just a couple of small things to do today before lino fitters show up. I removed the loo, capped off a pipe and cleared all of my stuff out of the room. I will be back there on Thursday.
Back at home, I had another quick once over my beautiful wife's motorbike, then phoned to book it in for an MOT. There are two places in Orkney that can do MOT testing on bikes. The first one is shut as the guy who runs it is away til the end of the week. The second one is busy for the next week and a half. I harrumphed quite a lot. We will need to wait a bit longer to get the bike on the road.
I took the dogs to Wasdale for a walk as the rain started, and had a nose around in the scrapyard for something to blip. I liked the curve of the bumper and headlight on this decaying car.
