Distant

Distant is the theme for the Mono Monday challenge - I immediately thought of the distance covered by trains in this country, and how relieved we feel when you can see the train in the distance, approaching the station. A distant train approaching the station is a far better feeling than a distant one leaving and you are still standing on the platform and know that you have missed the train!

It has been pleasantly warm and sunny today, its always good to leave the house without needing a cardi or a jacket.

Luke got to work today and wondered what was going on, as he was the only one there. Tomorrow is a bank holiday in Paris and it seems everyone has taken today off - of the 50 people on his floor there were only 2 of them there today! It must have been one of those weird moments for him when you think, is it Sunday today?
