Bean and I had a pretty good day today.  The sun was shining all day which was a surprise as I was expecting rain in the afternoon.  
We went to the Barwon Heads park in the morning which has access to the river which is where we ended up.  
Bean went into the water with his trousers on and when I took them off he was content with just walking to the waters edge, he finally realised that Mommy's not lying when she says the water's cold.  Not a single tantrum was had, and he was happy when it was time to go, he even lead the way! 
He had a short nap by normal standards so we had some time in the afternoon to kill.  He hopped into his pram and we walked down to the beach (about a 15 minute walk). When we arrived I reminded him that the water's cold and he was happy just holding my had and going for a little walk.  He even walked almost half way back home as well.
We've just put him down now and I think he was so tired I'm sure he was sleeping with his eyes open while Dubu read him a quick story!!
An almost perfect day, we were just missing Dubu/Daddy.
