Dandelion and burdock

Did we really have a drink called dandelion and burdock in the 1950s? Dark brown, sparkling with a taste I remember but find difficult to describe. Was it made with dandelion and burdock? The old name for dandelion is pissabed for its diuretic properties but I don't think the drink we had had that effect.
