Ancient Yew

On Saturday we walked through Kingley Vale Nature Reserve a fascinating and beautiful area. It is said that the yew trees there are perhaps 2000 years old - amongst the oldest living things in Britain. The woodland is dark and quiet. There is a steepish climb up the hill and panoramic views from the top.
