Messing About On The River

Had the BBQ for my tri club at our house today. Thank the Lord the weather was on our side. Over 60 people here. I wouldn't have known what to do with them all if it had rained.
Some if the kids wanted the kayaks out and our dingy. They had a fantastic time. So much fun watching them. Even better when the adults started to get in the river too. There was a bit if a water fight that went on.
The pool got used all day.
Such a lovely day. Everything went really well. Worth getting up at silly o'clock to get the house and garden sorted.
Mind you I'll be up at silly o'clock tidying up in the morning.
Everyone enjoyed it so well worth the effort.
