Tremendous World Athletics - I'll miss it.

In other news, we visited Laskey Farm at Thelwall this afternoon, it was taking part in the National Open Garden Scheme. Flowers, grasses, bees, swallows and martins, a jazz singer, carp, terrapins, local art, cake and tea. Lovely place. There is more to Thelwall than it's well known motorway viaduct.

The open garden scheme is running a photographic competition. I took a few pics on my phone, using a camera in someone's private garden didn't seem right.The competition prize is a private tour of Mary Berry's garden. Will she offer cake ?
