PORCELAIN BOX

A piece I made back in 1970 before I took off to be a professional musician.

It's highly grogged industrial porcelain fired in a reducing atmosphere. Grog isn't alcoholic - it's pre-fired clay which has been crunched up &  added to the body.- it reduces shrinkage & adds texture.

Today, I vacuumed throughout & astonished myself by actually washing  the floor with the lavender-perfumed "Sol-Plus"!
