Supertanker Sunset
Back-blip 7 of 7.....
Me and Mrs K took Millie pups for a walk up Godolphin Hill and back down via the disused tin mine to the National Trust owned Godolphin House. The view from the top of the hill is magnificent, stretching from St.Ives Bay on the north coast to Mounts Bay on the south coast and round to Goonhilly Downs, Four Lanes mast and beyond. Well worth a visit.
We then moved to the Ship Inn at Porthleven for a light refreshment, a pasty sat on the harbourside before heading to Dollar Cove, Gunwalloe (see extra) to walk the dog.
Having gone back to the cottage it was very tempting to put our feet up for the evening but as it was our last day of the holiday we headed for the fading sun at Sennen Cove, just round the corner from Lands End. And we weren't disappointed, another super sunset to crown the day.
All in all a very enjoyable holiday, seeing lots of places and notching up that step count. Although I think we compensated with a suitable calorie intake :)
