A walk through Glen Vale
Lovely afternoon walk with Rotary friends and partners into the Lomond Hills Regional Park through Glen Vale along some delightful and diverse paths.
The purple heather and rowan trees with their red berries added some lovely colour to the landscape . We passed by John Knox Pulpit where it is believed covenanters held conventicles in the 17th century. No sign of that today - just a few sheep watching us as they grazed amongst the heather.
We finished with a short drive to Loch Leven's Larder for very welcome coffee and cake/scones.
